With a unique path finding myself into the beauty industry I knew very quickly it was for me. After obtaining a bachelor's and master's degree in education and a few years of teaching sciences at the high school level, I knew I wanted more. I had always been interested in the beauty industry, so I took a leap of faith and enrolled in a few permanent makeup courses. After years as a Master Head Trainer for Permanent Makeup at a highly regarded beauty school in Toronto and teaching across the province, my passion and love for the beauty industry grew and became my full-time focus.

In 2016, I opened Studio Sheeque as a beauty space for permanent makeup services. I later continued my education and became a Registered Practical Nurse so I could offer more of what my clients wanted. I am now certified in cosmetic injectables and will be offering a list of new services, including, Mesotherapy, Microneedling, PRP, and Cosmetic Injectables.

Initially, I was concerned that I may not appreciate this type of work, as it is often perceived as superficial. But, as I immersed myself in the business, I quickly saw that beauty can encompass more than just the physical.

Working in the beauty industry comes hand-in-hand with self-awareness and self-confidence. I instinctively knew that beauty should be centred around health and holistic wellness but that this reality is quite difficult to achieve when living in today's world. So, I thought, why not address beauty concerns with a natural approach that may help boost overall health?

This is my goal in the cosmetic industry. Even more, it's my calling to act as an added support in helping people achieve greater well-being through more meaningful beauty enhancements.
